IN JUNE 1944 HISTORY TOOK A DIFFERENT PATH.
ON JUNE THE 4TH 1944 THE ALLIES INVADED NORTHERN FRANCE. ALL WENT ACCORDING TO PLAN.
ON THE EVENING OF 17TH JULY, BRITISH ARMOURED UNITS PREPARED FOR OPERATION ''GOODWOOD''. THE EASTERN SKY WAS LIT BY FIRE AS ALLIED BOMBS FELL ON THE CITY OF CAEN. LOOKING UP YOU WOULD HAVE BARELY NOTICED THE ARCING TRAILS OF SMOKE CURVING INTO THE NIGHT SKY.
THROUGH OUT THAT NIGHT AND FOR MANY DAYS TO COME THE V3 MISSILES RAINED DOWN ON THE ALLIED BRIDGEHEAD. HIGH EXPLOSIVE WARHEADS WREAKED HAVOC AMONGST THE CONCENTRATED ARMOURED UNITS BUT HIDDEN AMONGST THIS BOMBARDMENT THERE WAS SOMETHING MORE SINISTER. ON THIS DAY THE THIRD GENEVA CONVENTION WAS BROKEN. EVERY TENTH ROCKET SHELL CONTAINED A NERVE AGENT KNOWN AS ''VENGANCE GAS''.
V-GAS WAS UNLIKE ANY GAS WEAPON USED BEFORE, IT CONTAINED AN ACTIVE BIOLOGICAL FACTOR. A BACTERIUM, WHICH WHEN DISSIPATED IN WATER COURSES WOULD MULTIPLY RAPIDLY. AS THE V-BACTERIUM BREAKS DOWN IT CREATES THE V-GAS, A NERVE TOXIN AKIN TO MUSTARD GAS AFFECTING THE LUNGS, EYES AND SKIN. THERE WERE MANY CASUALTIES.V-GAS WAS AN INDISCRIMINATE KILLER AND CASUALTIES WERE ALSO HIGH ON THE GERMAN SIDE. TIME WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE AXIS. AS THE FRONT LINES STABILISED MORE AND MORE GERMAN UNITS FROM THE PAS DE CALAIS MOVED WEST. WHILE IN THE SOUTH THE AMERICANS MET THE UNEXPECTED.
THE ALLIED BREAKOUT.
16TH AUGUST 1944. AS THE AMERICAN DIVISIONS BEGAN THEIR MOVEMENT SOUTH THEY ENCOUNTERED UNEXPECTED RESISTANCE AND NEW GERMAN WEAPONRY.

O que eu tinha gostado mesmo de ver era mesmo a saída da serie completa de tintas da linha Formula P3 da Privateer Press, mas ao que parece a Privateer parece querer apostar em novos sets a juntar aos já existentes, agora para o Hordes e a sairem supostamente em Junho deste ano.We are producing four (4) Formula P3 paint sets, one for each HORDES faction. Each set has 6 colors chosen by the Privateer Press studio as the ideal colors used for those factions, and the very colors we use in-house.
It’s important to state three things here:
- Not all the colors are represented in these box sets. You’ll want to use all the colors to expand your possibilities and have the best hobby experience. There are 72 colors in the line including our washes and inks.
- There are some overlapping colors between the WARMACHINE and HORDES paint sets. Colors like Bootstrap Leather are found in both HORDES and WARMACHINE sets. The sets are made as a convenience of color choices you’ll want for your faction - feel free to purchase individual paint pots of the colors you desire!
- Formula P3 paints will be available individually in pots in an paint rack found at your retailer. We don’t expect you to buy a new box of Iron Kingdoms Colors just to refill your Thamar Black or Morrow White paint! Once you are running low on a particular color, inform your retailer that you’d like a refill. We hope to have paint racks in stores very soon - retailers can place order their paint racks now.
Here is a list of the colors you can find in the sets.
Notice that they do have overlap with the existing paint sets. These the sets collectively are not meant to represent the entire paint line. The Formula P3 paint rack has all the colors of the line. Ask your retailer to carry the Formula P3 paint rack so you have access to all 72 colors, inks, and washes.

Trollblood Base and Trollblood Highlight combine to form the main colors of Trollblood skin tone, and Underbelly Blue and Midlund Flesh round out the mix.

No seguimento do post: AT-43: Novidades (UNA), onde apresentei uma pequena galeria de imagens das ultimas novidades AT-43 disponíveis a nível nacional, as figuras da unidade Tac Arms em especial despertaram alguma curiosidade, e existiu algum interesse em apreciar as miniaturas em maior detalhe.

Viriatus lançou uma nova figura:54D008 - Henrique Dias, Vidal Negreiros, Índio Potyguarussu (Guerra de Pernambuco - Brasil 1645 - 1654)
Esta vinheta representa a resistência Portuguesa na guerra de Pernambuco no Norte do Brasil contra os Holandeses entre 1645 e 1654. Da esquerda para a direita, temos Henrique Dias, Vidal Negreiros e Filipe Camarão (Índio Potyguarussu).
Henrique Dias Alistou-se nas forças Portuguesas com alguns Africanos para combater os Holandeses. Combateu valorosamente, tendo sido ferido duas vezes e tendo perdido uma mão em combate. Recebeu pelos seus feitos o título de Mestre-de-campo das forças Africanas do Brasil.
Vidal Negreiros organizou a insurreição contra a invasão holandesa, distinguiu-se na guerra de guerrilha e participou valorosamente nas batalhas de Guararapes e na conquista final do recife.
Filipe Camarão combateu nas forças Portuguesas durante 18 anos. Como comandante do regimento Índio derrotou repetidas vezes os Holandeses. Foi-lhe dado o título de Capitão-Mor de todos os Índios do Brasil. Morreu em combate na primeira batalha de Guararapes, onde comandava a ala direita do exército.A marca Portuguesa Viriatus foi criada pela Arte Vila em 2001 com o objectivo de produzir miniaturas de figuras militares Portuguesas, seus inimigos e aliados, com o intuito de ilustrar o valor da história militar portuguesa e o seu impacto no mundo.
São figuras construídas em metal branco de 54mm (entre pés e topo da cabeça) para montar e pintar. As tiragens das figuras são limitadas a apenas 200 unidades.
As figuras estão organizadas em sete períodos históricos que vão desde a época pré-romana até aos dias de hoje cobrindo, não só oito séculos de história militar Portuguesa, mas também as civilizações que deram origem a Portugal.
